Getting started with ActionableAgile® Analytics just got easier! The new landing page is designed to help you find value quickly, with less guesswork. Whether you’re new to the tool or returning after a break - this is your starting point for exploring your data, answering key questions, and making your workflow smoother.

  • New Users: Not sure where to begin? The landing page gives you a quick intro to the app, shows why it’s useful, and guides you right to the best features.

  • All Users: You can jump straight into loading or creating data sets—no need to dig through menus anymore.

What can you do on the landing page?

1. Start exploring instantly

  • Create a New Data Set: Ready to analyse your own work? Click the “Create new data set” button to get started.

  • Use Example Data: Want to try things out first? Use example data to explore features at your own pace.

  • Load Existing Data Sets: Instantly access your most recently updated data sets, or filter to see your favourites, your own, or those shared with you.

2. Answer key questions

The landing page introduces you to key charts and how to use them:

  • Learn From the Past: Use the Cycle Time Scatterplot and Cumulative Flow Diagram to answer questions like “How fast does work get done?”.

  • Manage the Present: Use the Aging Work in Progress chart to spot potential bottlenecks in your workflow.

  • Forecast the Future: How can you forecast delivery dates? Use Monte Carlo simulations and percentile data for realistic forecasting.

In the bottom of the landing page, you will find links to:

  • Help Center: Access resources and guides directly from the landing page.

  • Product Documentation: Where you find guides like this one for all features of the tool.

  • Our Free Intro Class: Learn the basics of how to get started with ActionableAgile Analytics.

How-to guides (step-by-step)

Create a new data set

  1. Click the CREATE NEW DATA SET.

  2. Go through the steps in the pop-up window.

  3. Once created, it the dashboard will load with the new dataset.

Use example data

  1. Click the button USE ESAMPLE DATA.

  2. The dashboard will load with our example data.

Load existing data sets

  1. In the list to the right, you will find existing datasets.

  2. Click the title of the dataset you wish to load.

Show dropdown: You can filter what datasets you want to see in the list, by clicking this dropdown.
Choose between ALL DATA SETS and MY FAVOURITES.

Favourites: Mark datasets as favourites, by clicking the star icon on the left of the dataset name. This will make them appear directly in the dataset dropdown (top navigation menu), for quick access.

Show more: If you have more than 10 data sets, click “Show more” to open the full dataset manager.

Navigation:

Click the ActionableAgile Analytics logo to return to the landing page anytime.

Settings

From now on, when opening ActionableAgile Analytics, the landing page will be the first thing you see. If you prefer to have the dashboard open, like it used to be, you can change this in the settings.

Just go to the cogwheel icon in the top right, and click the bar under ‘Default dataset’ to change it.

Default dataset’ defines what will be the first thing you see when opening the app:

  • Last loaded data: The dashboard will load with an existing dataset, the one you last loaded.

  • Example data: The dashboard will load with the example data.

  • None: The landing page will load.

 

What’s Next?

Once you load a data set, you’ll start seeing how work flows through your process. The landing page is just the beginning - into charts, uncover insights, and make your workflow smoother and more predictable.
