Load a Jira Board (Legacy Wizard)

You can load the data from a Jira Board from Jira Cloud (or any accessible Jira instance) without the need for any help from your Jira administrator.

 

 

 

Getting Started

You begin by navigating to the Data icon in the top right of the gray navigation bar. When you click on the icon, click on the option named “Jira Cloud Board.”

After you click on the item in the dropdown, a dialog box will open and walk you through several steps.

Using the Jira Board Wizard

There are 6 total steps of the Jira Board Wizard.

Step 1: Authenticate with OAuth

You’ll need to do is choose which site to authorize:

 

Then click on ACCEPT to move to the next step.

Step 2: Choose which instance and board to load

You can use the “only issue resolved after:” to refine your search and only load issues that were resolved after a specific date. This will only work if you use Resolutions in Jira.

Step 3: Fetching of data

Nothing to do at this step.

Step 4: Data are loaded

At this point you should see the Cycle Time Scatterplot chart and you’re all set!
