Manage Users in a Subscription

If you have purchased multiple subscriptions, you can control which users are assigned to those subscriptions directly in the app in the Manage Users console. Find this by clicking on the “Manage Users button in the top right-hand corner of the app.

You don’t have to consume a subscription to manage the users for a subscription. Read the “Remove Users” section below for more details.

Detailed Information

Users with Stakeholder access in Azure DevOps do not have permission to view and edit Analytics views; for this reason, they will not be able to use ActionableAgile.

Remove Users (including yourself)

The manage users console will show you a table listing all of the users in your subscription. In each row, there is a icon. Click on that icon in the row of the user you want to remove.

Removing the user in this way doesn’t completely remove their data from our systems. It does remove them from your account so they don’t take up one of the users in your subscription.

You can remove yourself from your subscription using the above method. This allows you to continue managing the users for the subscription without consuming one of the user licenses.

Add users

If you would like to add someone else to your subscription and you have an available subscription, you can share an invite code with them.

You can determine how many available subscriptions you have by the message at the top of the Manage Users console. It will tell you one of two messages:

  1. You have reached the maximum number of users for your subscription.

  2. You are using X of Y purchased subscriptions.

To invite users, copy the invite code found in the blue box underneath the user table.

If no invite code has been generated, click the circular arrow icon to generate a code.

When you send them the invite code, direct them to follow the steps outlined in Join a Subscription via an Invite Code.

Once they have joined via the invite code, their name and email address will appear on the user manager page. However, if their name is replaced by “User not found” and their email by a long string, these users might not have access to the area of Azure from which you opened the user manager page. Add yourself

If you have removed yourself from the subscription, you can add yourself back at any time as long as you have an available subscription. Just click on the text link “Add Yourself To The Subscription” at the bottom of the Manage Users console.
