2. Look on the left-hand side in the Apps section

What is Flow Efficiency?

Are you looking for a way to speed up your work? Removing unnecessary wait time can be more impactful than trying to do your work faster. The total duration of a piece of work can be broken down into 2 components: time spent working and time spent waiting. The flow efficiency metric portrays this information in a ratio (percentage). A value of 19% means that an item spent 19% of its lifetime actively being worked on and 81% in waiting states. In such situations, focusing on removing wait time is more impactful than improving the speed of the working time. Once you establish a baseline flow efficiency, you can use this metric to show how much you improve your team's ability to move work through the system with as little waiting as possible. 

At the top of the report, you'll find an introduction to flow efficiency and, to the right, the overall flow efficiency of the project. In the picture to the right, it is 50%.

This overall flow efficiency is further broken down below by issue type and priority. The entries that show up are based on your issue type and priority configurations.
