This document contains the Portfolio Forecaster for Jira release notes for the current year. In the interest of brevity - the change log is limited to the main features and major issues that are released. Minor bugs and minor improvements may not be listed. Please contact support with any questions.

We updated our terminology to match Atlassian’s new terms.
We updated some UI elements.
We fixed a bug where users could create forecast using extinct Boards.
We fixed a bug where the rank order was incorrect.
We fixed a bug where re-running a forecast caused the new forecast not to be saved.
November 13th, 2025
We fixed a bug where certain key words could not be typed.
We fixed a bug where it was impossible to fetch more than 50 issue types.
November 4th, 2025
We fixed a bug where the ascending/descending buttons did not work.
We fixed a bug where when multiple issue link types are present, issue types were disabled.
We fixed a bug where escaping out of “Not enough work…” dialog results in a disabled submit button
We improved our error messaging.
September 15th, 2025
We fixed a bug where links did not work on the app configuration page.
We fixed a bug where the source data was incorrectly displayed in edit mode.
We fixed a bug where the Data Source field would clear while typing.
We fixed a bug where overrides applied on step 2 were not honoured in step 3’s default behaviour.
We fixed a bug where fields auto-populate incorrectly in step 3’s advanced configuration.
We fixed a bug with column enabling and ordering issues for forecasts.
We fixed a bug where the wrong info text was shown for Historical Throughput.
We fixed a bug where the info box stated incorrect information for Historical Throughput with default overrides.
Updated logic to warn users if no issues are found in the info text.
We fixed a bug with a timeout problem when fetching child issues, improving stability and performance.
July 16th, 2025
Forecast Scheduling is here This automates project or team forecast generation. Administrators can schedule automatic updates every weekend, eliminating manual updates and keeping stakeholders informed.
Users can now add date and number fields to the forecast table.
June 4th, 2025
We fixed a bug where the deprecated API caused an outage with accessing forecasts.
We fixed a bug where the JQL override in Step 3 required work items considered historical throughput to have a resolution.
We fixed a bug where re-forecasting a forecast caused the forecast to get stuck on the loading page.
We added the option to ignore the previous JQL in Step 3 of creating a Group Forecast.
We added the ability for users to add version and string fields to the forecast table.

We now allow users to ignore previous JQL when creating a Group Forecast
You can now filter by columns on the list pages
We now support bigger bodies of work (containing more than 100 efforts)
We improved the hierarchy set up when the parent link is used when creating a forecast
We fixed a bug in which the warning for “not enough data” would appear when overriding the default configuration.
We added some overall backend fixes for performance improvements
March 26th, 2025
We fixed a bug where elements on the homepage were not responsive when resizing the page.
We fixed a bug where Forecast Portfolio’ did not respect Group Forecast override status options.
We fixed a bug where sorting on the forecast column required multiple tries.
We updated the info box to be clearer about queries.
We improved user experience when re-forecasting a group forecast.

March 20, 2023 - bug fix
Filtering on fix Version/s was causing the search query to look for fixVersions instead of fixVersion. We corrected that, so filtering on that attribute now works correctly.
