Feb 7, 2022

We have made updates to the new Header experience

  • Added a configuration option for you to choose default data to load. Currently, there are two choices: Example data or Last Loaded Data. This is stored in Jira user properties and not in your browser storage any longer. When your last loaded data loads it will go fetch the latest updates.

  • Fixed a bug in the color palettes where the white wasn’t truly white, reducing the contrast.

  • We improved the readability of text in the dialog boxes

  • We fixed a bug where migrated data had unexpected values in the flagged field. This is only fixed in the new header data loader.

  • We have updated the Early Access Program navigation link to say Lab Control Room. This points to an updated page that has a place where users can toggle Beta features on and off as well as EAP features.

  • We have moved the new header from EAP to BETA. User messaging will go out soon and the EAP label next to the logo will change to BETA as well.

  • The chart dropdown is in a more user-friendly order with the 4 main flow metrics charts at the top.

  • We’ve fixed a bug in which dot colors weren’t being saved when you returned to your saved data sets.

  • A French language option is now available in the app settings for users to enable. Some portions of the app may still be in English and we continue to work on translating those.

  • Users in instances that have opted into our EAP program will be alerted that there’s a new EAP feature to review and enable.

  • Remove Beta text from Load Jira Issues option in the dropdown

We have released the following updates that will show up for users who have enabled the New Header experience from within the EAP program:

  • The welcome modal window stays away for a day if you click on Not Now

  • The date format dropdown now works with the new header

  • We have added the option to choose French from within the new header. (Please note we are still working on translating the new header and data loader.)

  • We now show the error message icon in the header if you upload a CSV icon with errant lines. As with the classic version, if you click on the icon it will tell you more about the issues.

Jan 24, 2022

  • Remove Beta lozenge inside the new Data Loader

  • EAP Header improvements:

    • The Create Data Set screen has an improved UI

As of June 13, we have changed our deployment process so that the same code is deployed to both Server and Data Center, usually at the same time. We are now combining Server and DC release notes to reflect that change. If for some reason, a release doesn’t go to both Server and DC at the same time, we will clearly mark that in the release notes.

4.0.0 (December 6, 2022)

We have improved the user experience of ActionableAgile by releasing an updated header navigation experience. Some of the benefits:

  • Load or manage data sets in fewer clicks.

  • See the information about the data set you loaded via the info icon next to the data set dropdown.

  • Charts are now grouped in the dropdown according to purpose

  • There is now an info box next to the chart dropdown so that you can learn more about each chart and have an easy way to get to the documentation for a specific chart.

We have removed the legacy loaders and now all users will utilize the updated data loading and management experience.

We have additional access points to get to ActionableAgile: via the top navigation bar and the project navigation sidebar. The access point from reports is still available for the time being.
